Premadasa Stadium on Tuesday (September 12). By the virtue of this feat, Wellalage made a special record. He became the youngest bowler to take five wickets for Sri Lanka in ODIs. Charita Buddhika was successful in taking 5 wickets against Zimbabwe in the year 2001 when he was 21 years old. Dunith Vellallage, who surpassed Charita Buddhika, today, is currently 20 years old. Afghanistan's Mujeeb Ur Rahman is the youngest wicket-taker in history of ODI cricket to take 5 wickets. Mujeeb took a 5-wicket haul at the age of 16 years and 325 days.
